1931-the 'cheap' edition, h/c, gilt on spine, 326pp, cover slight scuffs, general wear for a book of this age, slight browning to top edge, many photos and sketches, very sound copy. Autobiography, Seely commanded the Canadian Cavalry Brigade in WWII and also served in the Boer War, later becoming the Secretary of State for war.

Half-Leather. Condizione: Very Good. 1st Edition. A scarce 1st edition, rebound in 1/4 tan calf with 5 raised bands and contrasting titling piece in black with gilt lettering. Boards with marbling/morocco effect. Some light foxing in places, minimal edge wear to boards, tight and bright and overall a very good copy. Presented by the author: "General Edmonds From J E B Seeley Mottistone Manor Isle Of Wight Feb: 1930" General Edmonds was a distinguished soldier and author. A really nice collectable item.
