Großes Dokument (1 S. groß folio, Doppelblatt, etwas blass, o.O.u.J. (Paris 9.X.1802)) mit schöner eigenhändiger Unterschrift signiert "MARTINI au conservatoire de Musique" RECLAMATION Le C.en Martini est connu par un grand nombre de Compositions Musicales .". Es folgen 15 Pos. mit Aufzählung von Martinis Kompositionen (Opern und andere größere Werke, eine Orgelschule etc.), dann ein kurzer Lebenslauf, der mit den Worten schließt: ". Il est âgé de 61 ans. Allemand d'origine, il a depuis 40 ans consacré ses talens à la Nation française, et il vient d'être compris dans la réforme du Conservatoire. Ayant tout perdu, il réclame la justice & les bontés du Gouvernement". Eigenhändig unterzeichnet: "Martini. Au Conservatoire de Musique." (Die Reclamation war Beilage zu einem Brief Martinis an NAPOLEON BONAPARTE) (dito besagter EIGENHÄNDIGER BRIEF (1 S. gr. 4° Doppelblatt) an NAPOLEON BONAPARTE, in breiter Tinte mit Ort, Datum, Unterschrift signiert " (Paris) 9.X.1802. - "Premier Consul. J'ay l'honneur de Vous adresser la réclamation cy jointe; si elle a le bonheur de fixer Votre attention, je suis certain que justice me sera rendüe. Salut et Respect, Martini, Inspecteur du Conservatoire de Musique, Reformé. au Conservatoire, Rüe Fbg Poissonière". EUR 980,-) (- Martini bemühte sich mit dem Schreiben um Wiedereinsetzung in seine durch die Revolution eingebüßten Ämter. Napoleon erhörte Martinis Gesuch und machte ihn zu einem seiner Lieblingskomponisten. Entsprechend widmete dieser dem Kaiser viel Musik, darunter eine Kantate zur Feier der Hochzeit mit Marie Louise. Martinis melancholisches Lied "Plaisir d'amour" wurde bis heute von zahllosen Künstlern interpretiert.).

Donau, wo er bereits mit elf Jahren als Organist tätig war. 1788 wurde er in Paris als Surintendant de la musique du roi Hofmusiker mit Zuständigkeit für Kirchenmusik und zugleich Intendant der wichtigsten Pariser Bühnen (WP). - Selten.
