In two parts, one facsimile of the original limited edition, with illustrated wrappers in stiff board paper wooden facsimile folder. Second is a history of the making of the book, with introductory text by Ann Hyde Greet. Both housed in a slipcase resembling the wooden slipcase of the 1957 edition. Still in original protective cardboard package. All near fine save for some slight rubbing to edges of the wooden folder and outer box. Outer box also has a red mark on one side and a tiny dent to top of same side.

The second part is a 24 page softcover on quality paper explaining the facsimile and the history of the making of the original work. The introduction to this part is by Anne Hyde Greet. The parts are in a slipcase - also faux wood - not tiltle or text. The slipcase has very light wear, everything else is very good+ condition.

The facsimile is is copy of the original #75 along with the facsimile signature of MIRO. The facsimile copy is of the original limited edition and is also in French. The color illustrations are wonderful. The covers are hard stock cardboard with the colorful wrap around folded dust jacket cover. The book is in the original Chemise casing and in the original matching slipcase (Pages unnumbered). The slipcase has a small split on the bottom seam and two very small rectangular marks on the top left front area where two small price tags had been previously. The soft bound booklet of 22 pages which describes the making of the original is present (Introduction by Anne Hyde Greet) and in FINE CONDITION. Also accompanying this book is a BONHAMS color illustrated auction card which describes an original (1 of 130/#78) copy of the 1958 printing up for bids at their auction taking place Tuesday October 28, 2014. There are also a few printed pages from a personal computer (10/13/14) showing the item to be auctioned on Oct. 28th. There is also a yellow slip of paper with a printed number of 294 which was probably the persons auction # for bidding on the original limited edition copy.
