An officer with Rogers Rangers during the French & Indian War, Stark became a General during the American Revolution. A New Hampshire native, he is continues to be honored in that state, and is creditied with its motto, "Live Free or Die". Molly Strark, too, is remembered most often for her courage at the Battle of Bennington (VT). This book is a lively biography written for a youthful audience. Fair in good dust jacket. Ex-library.
