Leaflet contains the Spanish and English translations of the Introduction and an essay by Gladys M. Jimenez-Munoz. Plates show examples of the artist's work. Rare in the trade. Published on the occasion of an exhibition at University Art Museum, State University of New York at Binghamton. The show featured Juan Sanchez (b. 1954), an American artist who parents came from Puerto Rico. His works often incorporate various media such as painting, photography, and found images in print. He has used his art to speak out against the United States' sociopolitical policies and practices toward Puerto Rico. The exhibition was curated by Nancy Gonchar.
