This book has rubbing and surface scratching to both covers that has resulted in minor color loss most notable at the edges of the spine and the top right corner of the back cover, shelfwear to the edges and corners of the covers and textblock including light fraying to the edges of the spine, loose hinges, an old bookseller's sticker on the interior of the rear cover, toning to the endpages, a shifted spine, bumped corners, light foxing to the edges of the textblock, gentle cracking to the binding at multiple places throughout most notable on page 146-147 and 338-339, light brownish staining and foxing to the margins of multiple pages throughout, uneven toning to page 112-113 from an old paper receipt used as a bookmark, and an overall gentle aging to the pages, otherwise this book is in fair reference condition with unmarked pages and a strong cover.

Binding straight & strong, pages creamy white with modest tanning to edges. Old gift inscription dated 1915 in pen to ffep; former owner's stamp inside front cover.
