Bound in Original Full Vellum with stamped gold lettering to front. top page edges gilt, rest are untrimmed. * One of 25 numbered copies of the special edition on Zanders laid paper with 10 signed and dated orig lithographs by Hugo Steiner-Prag. Only these copies were bound by hand in full vellum. In the imprint signed by the artist. The text follows the first edition of Goethe's early play of 1774 Perfectly preserved. * Also signed on the limitation page by Hugo Steiner-Prag ( but no # was given ) - Each of the 10 Lithographs is Signed, Dated and Titled in pencil by the artist. - mild wear to covers, there is some toning, or yellowing to the vellum ( mostly to rear board ) mild foxing at times. ( usually limited to the margins, or endpapers) Otherwise, quite clean and unmarked. Binding is solid. All Lithorgraphs are clean, unmarked and in VG or better condition. Overall, a Good++ to VG Copy of the Special Edition. ( 1 of 25 Copies).
