Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Oversized hardcover with no DJ. Tan paper boards with Wildcat Division logo on front cover, black lettering on spine. No date on title page. Copyright page dated 1948. Stated first edition. 324 pages including a 32 page pictorial history. Boards faded with shelf wear to edges, primarily at corners. Top and bottom edges of spine as well as corners bumped. Discoloration along spine. Small scuff marks to rear board near spine. Pages clean and unmarked with black and white as well as color photographs of the Wildcat Division throughout. Binding tight. Features a Pacific Ocean map on the front endpaper detailing route taken from San Francisco to Japan. Map of the travel route from several bases taken through the United States on the rear endpaper. Very Good condition. Signed by Rear Admiral G.H. Fort, U.S.N. . on the title page with no inscription.
