The spine is toned and the letters are rubbed. Crown and foot of the spine are bumped. The DJ is toned with small tears and rips along the edges, especially the top. A stain on the front that looks like it's from a coffee cup. The inside of the pages is lightly, evenly toned but clean and unmarked. Endpapers are a map of the Potomac. Signature on title page. Reads, "to my good friends, the Jesuit fathers of Loyola Retreat House with best wishes. Frederick Tilp." This is an oversized book.
