Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Fair. Second edition. The book has very lightly bumped corners, loose hinges, and an overall gentle aging to the pages, otherwise the book is in very good condition with crisp, unmarked pages, a tight binding, and a strong, clean cover. The dustjacket has rubbing and surface scratching to both covers, multiple chips and creases at the edges of the jacket most notable at the top of the flap folds and across the bottom of the front cover, smudging and light staining to the back cover and spine, tears to the top edge of the jacket across the spine that has resulted in a jagged, ripped edge approx 3 1/2 inches long, and light scuffing to the edge of the flap fold on the front cover that has resulted in minor color loss, otherwise the dustjacket is in fair condition, intact and attractive, and is now in an archival protective mylar.

Softcover. Condizione: Good. Quarto. Carbon leaves typed rectos only in brad-bound unprinted wrappers. Author's phone number handwritten on the title page, wrappers quite worn, first leaf partly pulled away, overall good or better, internally very good. An unpublished play about Charles Lee and the American Revolution that was later adapted into a 1942 novel published by Farrar and Rinehart. The denouement in the third act revolves around the Battle of Monmouth in Freehold, New Jersey. This play was apparently unpublished and possibly unproduced. The only mention we can find of the play is in a single record of a program for the WPA Federal Theatre Program (held in Germany!). *OCLC* records no copies of this script, and the play version is apparently unrecorded.
