Die Ausgabe erschien ursprünglich in broschierten Lieferungen mit einer Umschlagillustration, die bei gebundenen Exemplaren nur selten erhalten ist, in unserem Fall jedoch jeweils auf den vorderen Innendeckel montiert wurde. Die Tafeln wurden nach der Auflistung bei Brivois kollationiert und sind vollständig vorhanden. Es fehlt lediglich der nur einem geringen Teil der Auflage beigegebene achtteilige Plan von Paris. Sander: Die illustrierten französischen Büche des 19. Jhdts., Nr. 232; Brivois 124ff.; Carteret III, 202ff.; Vicaire III, 241ff.: "Ce plan manque à la plupart des exemplaires." Clouzot (1996), 32. Bei Band 2 wurde der Rücken unten und bei beiden Bänden die unteren Ecken mit farblich passendem Leinen verstärkt, sonst handelt es sich um ein schönes, gut erhaltenes Exemplar mit nur leichten Gebrauchsspuren.
