In ihnen inszenieren die Künstler im dokumentarischen Gestus paranormale Situationen, die sich im Inneren einer "kleinbürgerlichen" Welt oder in symbolisch besetzten Regionen deutscher Kunst (wie dem Schwarzwald) abspielen. Die Gegenstände (Geschirr, Pflanzen, Obst und Gemüse) und die Protagonisten (zumeist die Künstler selbst als "deutsche Kleinbürger" kostümiert) werden in die Luft geschleudert, fliegen davon, schweben über dem Boden oder wirbeln umher.
