Softcover. Condizione: Very Good. Second Edition. Know yourself - the real you within your layers of thinking. The unknown potential which exists in each of us lies in our Unconscious-mind. As a medical doctor and plastic surgeon. I had observed the way a patient's health and well-being was influenced by the thoughts they held in their mind, especially their Subconscious and the deeper levels of that. Appreciation of Surgical results can be closely affected by the Self Image Body healing is run from the Unconscious mind. But how we feel about results is influences from the Subconscious. Later when I retired from surgery and retrained as an artist I was given skilled help for a couple of years to explore in deeper levels of Consciousness. I had the intuitive desire to know who I really was - beyond the family identity I was born with. I had found in childhood the ways knowing could just arrive, and sought the source when given the opportunity. The Subconscious is a working part of our everyday life and we use it all the time without knowing. We are more influenced from the Unconscious mind than we may realise. We each Have these 4 basic levels in our system which we explore through the book. Our real identity and meaning is to be found in these deeper levels of Consciousness hidden away from the world. Paperback. Condizione: new. Paperback. There is the excitement and joy of discovery in learning and understanding the reasons we come to this life from the eternal life we are part of. We are all connected in our human consciousness which functions in several different levels. Understanding these levels can lead to a clearer knowledge of how the energy of your thought relates to the structure of matter, who you really are, and how you connect with the life in all things in the Universe. The extent to which our thoughts modify the reality around us is something we are mostly unaware of. Our thoughts even influence the behaviour of all our body cells! Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.

Hardcover. Condizione: Fine. Book. 421 x 303mm. A complete set of six volumes (1988-1991) of this richly illustrated, portfolio periodical with each issue's title letterpress printed on the front cover, together with different coloured end papers. The colophon is printed in a grey, red and black constructivist design on white stock across all volumes. Each volume was published in a limited edition of one hundred and fifty copies, except for Number 2, which was produced in an edition of 120 numbered copies, and Number 3 is not numbered. Blank Page was a biannual portfolio publication, designed and edited by Philip Dobree, with Adrian Self acting as literary editor. It is notable for its display of original works of pure abstraction (many signed and numbered), with critical texts interspersed throughout by significant theorists, writers and designers - these essays have been designed with a strict red and black constructivist aesthetic in mind, continuing the graphic style that unites all volumes. For example, in Volume 4, a cut-out black and white image by Douglas Allsop has been embedded with Geoff Bennington's text, "Not One". Presented as original multiples, the works featured include: lithographs; screen prints; relief prints; woodcuts; collages, etc. Volume 6, the final publication, is particularly rich in its gathering of many leading practitioners of pure abstraction, such as Charles Biederman, Cesar Domela, Anthony Hill, Michael Kidner, Francois Morellet and George Rickey. Taken individually, and as a collective series, Blank Page provides an impressive and extensive survey of the plastic arts and European constructivist design made during the period of its publication. Each portfolio performs like a mini, self-contained exhibition, with contributions by: Number One (unnumbered on cover, gold on green): Selima Hill, Michael Symmons Roberts, David Powell, Alan Bold, Patricia Conolly, Nicholas Rawson, A.
