Objects include: bowls, hooks, bracelets, bottles, scarves, and tongs. Contributors range from Dempsey Bob in Prince Rupert, British Columbia to Raymond Cox in St. John's Newfoundland. LEARN about : Martha Henry, Tony Bloom, stove whisk, abalone, lute, eel traps, and goblets, Cond : Paper wrapper is very dark brown. Lettering is white. Front cover graphic features two glass perfume bottles plus objects of clay,metal,and fibre. Cover (esp. back and edges) is much rubbed. No tears,no names, no marks. The beauty of the collection is very few pieces were made after 1850. The German collector and his father had spent a lifetime gathering the artifacts from other European collectors. Andrew Bulger, Lisa's Post, Chesterfield House, capotes, moccasins, pouch, sash, Arthur Speyer Collection, war club, drum, calumet, twined basswod, burden strap, and quill warapping. Most photographs in b/w. Front end-papers show a map of the Great Lakes region. Back end-papers have a map of the Hudson Bay drainage. Cond : Paper wrapper is white with black lettering.
