Soft cover. Condizione: Near Fine. Wole Soyinka is Nigeria's greatest author. His heartfelt books, have captivated the entire world with their truthful depictions of Nigeria's soul. The play, in large part a political satire, depicts the visit of two dead ancestors, who arise from a river to attend a 'gathering of the tribes'. The living find that these ghosts from the underworld do do not bring the wonderful blessings of peaceful souls, but are full of "ancient bitterness and resentment".
