Very scarce issue of this counterculture, art, and music newspaper from New York, this being a Jimi Hendrix tribute published 2 months after his death. The publisher of the periodical was Susan Graham (1930-2022), who later married Charles Mingus, the couple's unofficial ceremony being conducted by Allen Ginsberg. Graham was a journalst and musician who performed her husband's music in tribute after his death and won a Grammy Award in 2011. This issue also includes pieces on Loudon Wainwright, Bessie Smith, a Hendrix Poster, film reviews, etc. OCLC notes this was published as a biweekly, from 1969-1975. Only NYU and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame are cited as holding any issues. . Newspaper, 16x12", folded to 12x8," 31pp. Photos, illustrations, ads. Yellowed and toned with some foxing, wear to edges, and very slight split at junction of folds. Very good.
