Robert Lemoyne Barrett (Gypsy Davy) and his wife Katharine Ruth Barrtett (Lady BA) travelled in 1923-1924 from Srinager through Baltistan and Karakoram into Ladakh. Contains much about the lore and music of the Himalayas. Robert Barrett was a founding member of the American Association of Geographers and previously had carried out much exploration in the Canadian Rockies.
