Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. No Jacket. Reprint. This is a huge anthology of children's literature (the Acknowledgments take up nine pages, the Contents list fourteen!). Apart from 800 pages of stories and verse, this is also a book for the adult student of children's literature. Each section also has suggested grades and a… bibliography, and there are essays on children's reading, illustration, and the history of children's literature. End matter includes 58 pages of brief biographical sketches of authors and illustrators, and a 13 page Index. There is some underlining in pencil and colored pencil, particularly at the beginning of the book, and a few pencil notations. The covers are worn at spine ends and corners, and the edges are a little browned. But this hefty book is very good, securely bound and undamaged. A small additional shipping fee is to be expected, and I doubt it will ship economically overseas. Lynd Ward (illustratore).

Integrating this debate with the philosophies of difference espo…used by Gilles Deleuze, Michel Foucault, Jacques Derrida, Jacques Lacan, and Pier Paolo Pasolini, Ward Blanton argues that genealogical interventions into the political economies of Western cultural memory do not go far enough in relation to the imagined founder of Christianity. Blanton challenges the idea of Paulinism as a pop Platonic worldview or form of social control. He unearths in Pauline legacies otherwise repressed resources for new materialist spiritualities and new forms of radical political solidarity, liberating "religion" from inherited interpretive assumptions so philosophical thought can manifest in risky, radical freedom.
