Jacket notes by Jonny Meadow of "Atlantic Records Vault Research," who recalls Jesse Stone's "Money Honey" (Atlantic 1006) was their first release after Clyde McPhatter left Billy Ward & The Dominoes to form The Drifters. Album features Ruth Brown's "Mama, He Treats Your Daughter Mean," The Drifters' "Money Honey," The Chords' "Sh-Boom," Joe Turner's 1954 version of Charles Calhoun's "Shake, Rattle & Roll," La Vern Baker's "Tweedle Dee," Ray Charles' "I've Got a Woman," etc. That disc alone now reduced from $45.
