A circular stamp on the ffep is the only evidence that the book is from a Theological Library - indeed, we should really class it as Very Good but there is half a dozen pages with ink spots - these do it impend the text.

Covers rubbed, vellum darkened as typical but bindings not splayed, spines of first two volumes have a couple of drops of white paint, sound bindings, clean pages with just a few light traces of foxing to a handful of pages, pencil notes on blank at the end of third volume, no other markings. A sound set in lovely aged vellum. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

The 'books' are paginated separately. About the final third of the book is filled with commentaries, indices, and a variorum for both volumes.
