Encuadernación de tapa dura. Condizione: Muy bien. 1ª Edición. 8vo. (19 x 12,5 cm). (8)f. Text in Latin Rome Stephan Plannck, ca.1481-1487. No stated publishing date. Some light, minor foxing, but overall in very good condition. Nice binding in full 19th century calf; boards with blind tooled and gilt frames, this copy belonged to the author's family as indicated by his binding where the names of Piero Capponi, Gino Capponi, Neri Capponi and Niccolo Capponi in each of the ends of the binding in the center says "a voi le trombe a noi le campane "and" family memory". Nicola Capponi, also known as Cola Montano (Gaggio Montano N/D- Florence, 1482), was an Italian humanist. In 1468 he became a Latin teacher in Milan, but, an enemy of Galeazzo Maria Sforza, convinced his pupils of the need to get rid of the tyrant and was therefore imprisoned (1474). In the following years he lived as a vagabond, constantly pursued by the Medici troops of Florence; he was captured and hanged by them in 1482.
