A fine early 20th Century mezzotint with aquatint, showing a beautiful, panoramic view of the Venice skyline with groups of cloth merchant boats, airing their wares on the water in front of the Doge's Palace and Saint Mark's Square. The artist has signed to the lower right in graphite and the publisher's dates and details are inscribed in plate at the upper edge. The mezzotint is on chin colle laid to heavy wove.
