A Very Good copy. This is a report containing reprinted correspondence and documents from the Commissioners of the Navy Pension Fund and Secretary of the Navy B. W. Crowninshield. The report begins with correspondence from Crowninshield, speaking on behalf of the Commissioners, in which he summarizes recent developments relating to the Navy Pension Fund and the pensioners. There are several requests he makes to Congress about the fund such as improving accountability of the fund and transactions made by the prize agents, making logistical improvements to the disbursements, and allowing for increased pensions for disabled war veterans.
