Libro Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Issued Without Jacket. First Edition. The condition would be fine except for the fact that the front endpaper has been secured to the front cover. This book has been professionally rebound in original boards. Hancock's role in the major battles is treated in depth, in addition to interesting viewpoints on the Confederate high command. A very shall we say"warm" treatment of "Stonewall" Jackson. He was the Presidential candidate for the Democratic party in 1880. William H. English was his running mate and a brief account of his life is within. An interesting account of the Civil War years and ensuing times.
