Quarter black cloth over black paper-covered boards with gilt-debossed particulars to spine and debossed publisher's emblem to front board. Light pink markings to margins of pages 102 and 103; otherwise, pages are clean and unmarked. Text block has soiling fore edge near lower corner; light foxing to top edge; small brown marking to lower edge. Dampstain to pastedowns likely due to glue between paper and boards; shadowing to first and last free endpaper from glue stain. Boards have sunning to top edge and bumping to lower edge, corners and ends of spine. Binding is tight and square. Dust jacket has scuffing and rubbing to rear cover with creasing, rubbing and chipping to egdes, corners and ends of spine; 1-inch tear from top edge of front cover.
