Ik kan gerust stellen dat een fotoshoot met hem in geen enkel opzicht gelijkt op een shoot met eender welke andere fotograaf. Niet zozeer omdat ik voordien nog nooit naakt had geposeerd maar wel omwille van de manier waarop hij ons als model bij zijn kunstproject weet te betrekken. Als geen ander slaagt hij erin je mee te trekken in de wereld die hij wil cre ren, waardoor ik me niet louter model voelde, maar eerder de hoofdrolspeler in een verhaal dat veel verder reikt dan een verzameling uitzonderlijke foto?s. Ebony is zo?n verhaal. De vrouwen in dit boek zijn geen toevallige anonieme passanten maar mensen van vlees en bloed.
