Condizione: Very Good. 3 oversized hardcover books bound in pebbled reddish/brown cloth, with embossed decoration to front cover, raised bands on spine, very bright and clear gilt lettering to front covers and spines, paginated in sequence to page 4342 (each volume approximately 1400 pages)---Volume 1, xxviii + 1440 pages; Volume 2, 1440 pages (paginated as 1441-2880); Volume 3, 1462 pages (paginated as 2882-4342), which also includes, from page 4229 onwards, Chronological Table of World History, Lists of Rulers, Chiefs of State, and Other Notables, by Country, States of the United States and of the Confederacy, Genealogical Charts, Members of the United Nations, Table of Popes, Geological Table, List of Prenames Used in This Work;---all volumes have light to moderate shelf wear to cover corners, spine ands and bottom edges, corners bumped, page edges age darkened, but overall very gently used, previous owner's signature in each volume, all otherwise very clean and unmarked, pages fresh and white.
