After graduating from art school, Emi Anrakuji was diagnosed with a cerebral tumor, which prevented her from working for more than a decade. During her agonizing recovery, she began to make woodblock prints, then turned to photography. There is only one way to describe what she has achieved in "E Hagaki": Simply stunning.
