Transpositions celebrates the active cooperation that has developed between Sweden and South Africa, as well as the mutual respect they shared during the intense struggle for freedom, and now share in the new democracy. The artists selected for this exhibition represent a wide range of concerns, conveyed in a variety of innovative approaches like installations, video, sculpture and painting.
