Some closed tears have been fixed by a previous owner with sellotape on the inside, not visible on outer cover. First hinge cracked revealing webbing and very light scattered foxing throughout, otherwise book very good clean and tight.

DJ has large chip bottom of spine - interestingly the reverse of the jacket is the dustjacket for Allen Seaby's The Shetland Pony. Some soiling and stains, but displays nicely in clean Brodart jacket. Not price-clipped. Name and date 1945 on ffep. 175 pages. Born in the mountains of Afghanistan, Khyberie the pony soon showed his climbing skill by clambering down off the face of Devil's Cliff when, as a young foal, he lost his mo ther. Bought by a man for his daughter, Kyberie had many adventures with her.
