Hardcover. Condizione: Fair. 12mo. 289 pages. A small book measuring 7 3/8 inches tall by just over 5 inches wide. Hardcover bound in blue cloth. Moderate rubbing and wear to the binding. A sound copy with secure inner hinges. The binding is slightly cocked but is sturdy. The endpapers are foxed, as well as some places in the text, especially around the illustrated plates. The book is a novel set in late 18th century France. Dred Peacock (1864-1934) was a professor of Latin at Greensboro College. He went on to become President of the college.
