Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Good. This VG quality was copyrighted in 1931 and published by Cupples & Leon; it is 7-5/8" tall with 210 numbered pages of text followed by 2 unnumbered pages of ads. This book--orange cloth binding with black lettering and illustration--is square, reasonably clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings; the head and heel of the spine are lightly bumped with some color loss at both places but no fraying. The bottom edges have very little wear; the spine is not faded and is clean and the lettering is pristine. The exterior has just a hint of general overall soiling--it just does not sparkle like a new book. The interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type; it is, however, missing the FFEP. The text paper is very mildly toned and is quite flexible and not at all brittle. The frontis is on coated paper and is clean and intact--it is the only illustration. The book has no remainder mark and is not a former library book. The list at the front of the book lists through title #3 of this series; there are no other lists for this series. The G quality jacket is clean with no fading. There are small chips at both front corners with wear and some slight amount of color loss along the front fold, a small chip at the top rear corner, and a 1-1/4" x 1/1/2" chunk at the head of the spine that removes most of the title.
