Ouvrage "tout à fait fantaisiste" selon Tulard, que l'on recherchera surtout pour ses illustrations. Rare broché. Quelques rares rousseurs, un petit manque angulaire à la couverture supérieure. Das Gesicht der Madonna und das Jesuskind sind nicht ausgeführt, der Engel nur zum Teil; der Hintergrund (Landschaft mit Wolken) ist fast fertig. II. Das voll ausgeführte Blatt, jedoch ohne Schrift. III. Das voll ausgeführte Blatt mit der Schrift. Blattformat ca 55 x 39,5 cm; Format der Darstellung (ohne Schrift) ca 32 x 25 cm. Gedruckt auf Bütten. Auf der Rückseite der Blätter jeweils eine Beschriftung in Blei von alter Hand: I. Probeabzug, Abzug vor der Schrift, Beschriftung fertig = Abzug. --- Im weißen Rand etwas braunfleckig (besonders Blatt III), Blatt I und II auch r.u. mit einem kleinen Feuchtigkeitsrand, sonst von ordentlicher Erhaltung.
