Condizione: VG. 15pp extract, printed in double columns, illustrated with 14 characteristic Harper's engravings, salvaged from a damaged issue of Harper's Monthly, Volume XLIV, No. 262, March, 1872. Illustrations include a Puri Indian hunting on the Madeira River, native turtle-shooting, natives hunting the tapir from a canoe, several examples of inscriptions on the rocks at Ribeirao, a specimen of curiously cut stones along the rapids, a scene of dragging a canoe around Teotonio, a meeting with the Caripuna Indians, a profile of a Caripuna Indian, a scene of Indian rubber-making, breakfast on the Mamore, the Church and Plaza of Exaltacion, a group of Mojos Indians at Trinidad celebrating mass, a Mojos Indian, and the Cherimbita. Housed in protective mylar report cover.
