Eterogeneo, vario, molteplice, in questo lavoro vengono raccolte ricerche e progetti che, dal 2014, anno nel quale ho iniziato a insegnare Composizione Architettonica e Urbana presso l'Università degli Studi di Udine, ho sviluppato in un dialogo serrato con le realtà istituzionali e imprenditoriali locali, dialogo che ha prodotto questo insieme di studi e approfondimenti, alcuni ancora in corso, in parte elaborati e coordinati insieme ad Alberto Cervesato. Nel paesaggio frammentario che queste ricerche implicitamente compongono, questioni quali le domande di mobilità, lo stato del patrimonio edilizio e l'accesso alle risorse ambientali, vengono avvicinate, messe a fuoco, elaborate. Si tratta, nell'insieme, di un tentativo che ha cercato e sta cercando di mettere in risonanza i temi della ricerca architettonica contemporanea, con il rumore di fondo di una riflessione che una intera regione sta facendo sul suo futuro e sulle sue risorse. In qualche caso, di questo rumore di fondo, nei disegni e nei progetti presentati, ci sembra di aver intercettato il senso. Libro.
