No date but early 1900's. f/c illustrated front paper on board, sepia illust on paper on board back. Blue cloth spine. Black titles on spine. 2nd o/p half title page 2 photgravues, followed by a lovely f/c frontis then f/c illustrated title page. 24 f/c plates + photogravues and illusts. Lovely period pics. Many of gollies. 25.3 x 19.2cm. Unpaginated but 95 pages. Large text, innocent pleasant stories. Nice book. Condition: Obviously been well read and loved. See pic. Boards scuffed, general age discoloured. Cloth spine thinning, wear on spine, edges + corners, boards showing. e/ps yellowed evenly. 2nd o/p neat writing from Auntie Madge et at, above this, to right corner Auntie Madge has crossed out original price. Title page + remainder of text cracked down seam, webbing showing making boards wobbly. Title page a few faint fox spots. Opens with Auntie Win's Holiday Stories which is incomplete, pages missing. Pages have a pencil nos. top right corner. e/p 3 pencil line scribble, page blank. A few grubby marks. Despite looking passed its best, the majority of contents still there and the pictures really are super. Good colour and condition.
