Each volume 8 3/4" x 11" x 1 3/8". Hardcover, green with embossed title and design on the cover, gilt lettering on the spine. Good condition; very good for the age. Some wear on the corners and edges, but nothing severe. All pretty solid. Faded spines. Pages of Volume I are age-toned. Volume II and III are surprisingly bright. Pages are clean, but some pencil notation on the flyleaf of vol. I. Profusely illustrated with b/w photos, informative and amusing. Some occasional color plates. Very stout binding. Packaged using bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box. Thanks for checking out this book from our small-town brick-and-mortar and supporting small business.
