Chrisman details the history of the outlaws and ruffians of "No Man's Land" and trail drives to Dodge City and beyond. Numerous illustrations accompany the anecdotes and stories of various frontier personalities. A clean very presentable copy.

He also provided the art work for the front cover and a photo on the back cover. There are 249 pages plus multiple pages of black and white images. Included in the page count are a Selected Bibliography and Notes and Sources sections. This volume is clean bright and without marks internally or externally. The dark blue boards have silver lettering and designs on the front cover and spine. Only the bottom front board tip is bumped, the rest are sharp and the spine ends stiff.
