Johnson, Governor of the State of California, do hereby offer a reward of Five Hundred Dollars" Pingrey "came to California from Illinois with his brothers, Harlan, Albert, Charles and his mother Betsey Pingrey in 1907. Harry was killed in a saloon hold up that occurred in Galt, California while on a trip to the San Francisco Bay area delivering goods for his employer.
