Some folks called him cross-grained and ornery, but Smoke Wylie never gave a man anything he didn't have comin'. So when Smoke's pa, Nate, began thinkin' about running a bunch of prairie drifters of Lost Horse Hollow, Smoke let him know that he'd have no part of it. He knew that shootin' a man wasn't easy, but he also knew that to get himself back into his family's good graces he'd just have to yank iron and deal out a hard dose of range justice.
