Bound in white cloth with red and black lettering stamped on spine. Dust jacket with a bit of age-toning to edges, and slightly more to to spine. Signed by Hicks in his distinctive style on the front free endpaper. A fine contribution to Hicks' body of work, presenting a continuation of his deployment colors and patterns mixed in a brazen and often arresting richness. Although he published some-eight or nine books in both England and the US, signed copies are scarce. Dust jacket is now enclosed in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
