Illustrated with many b&w photos, drawings and charts. Brown cloth covered boards with gilt lettering and graphics stamped on front board panel and spine; the lettering and graphics are lightly rubbed and bit difficult to read agains the boards. Upper external page edges are green-tinted. Edges at head and tail of board spine are crimped and scuffed but not fraying. Fore-edge corner tips are lightly scuffed. Upper right corner (near back corner at head of spine) on back board panel is bumped. Several very small and shallow bumps along fore-edges. Age-toning to external pages edges and text pages. One small ink check-mark noted in text pages, else overall internally clean. Text block is snug. Thin green paper dust jacket with brown lettering and graphics on front jacket panel and spine. Jacket is soiled overall and sunned on spine and fore-edges. Fore-edge folds are heavily creased and rubbed with several rub-throughs. Open tears and losses along lower half of back fore-edge fold, with adjacent closed tears and creases. Lower edge of front panel has a 1/2" by 1/2" inverted "v" shaped loss with several adjacent diagonal creases to the lower edge. Upper edge at head of jacket spine is chipped and rubbed and with loss on the back corner of 1/4" by 3/8" and with adjacent 1/4" closed diagonal tear; lower edge at tail of jacket spine is rubbed and chipped with loss of 3/8" by 1/8". Upper edge of back panel has several chips and horizontal creases as well as a loss of 1/2" by 1/4". All fore-edge corners have losses: Upper corner of back panel has loss of 1/2" by 1/4" and with adjacent closed diagonal tear of 3/8"; lower fore-edge corner of back panel has approx. loss of 3/8" by 1/4"; upper right front fore-edge corner has loss of 3/8" by 1/4" and adjacent 3/4" closed vertical tear along the fold; lower front fore-edge corner has minimal loss of less than 1/8". Several old tape repairs on the reverse side. Inside flap corners are not clipped. Price of $5.00 is intact. Please use close-up options for best inspection and in support of condition descriptions.
