This translation of the Arabian Nights' Entertainments was first published between 1838 and 1840. The addition which this edition is based on is of 1859. Title says it all. All all volumes of this that show softening and rubbing of the back strip edges and bumping and rubbing of the book corners. Likewise they all show darkning and marking of the back strip with uniform light tanning of the text block edges and lighter age toning of the pages. All have spotting to the top text edge.
