Covers are clean with light rubbing and crown and foot of spine and outer corners. Binding is tight and secure. Pictorial DJ, wrapped in protective mylar, is lightly toned and scuffed with wear to edges and large chips at crown and foot of spine. Back of DJ, which has a printed programming schedule for the BBC has been lightly annotated by previous owner with certain programs underlined or marked with an "X". Binding is tight and secure. Pages are lightly toned with a few pencil markings but otherwise clean with minimal wear. Front free endpaper has been replaced with blank page, taped in place along with title page and frontispiece. The rear endpapers show entirety of pictorial print. Printed in B&W; 4 maps and 17 illustrations (including frontispiece). 243 pages. Title page dated 1943. Copyright page dated 1943. Previous owner's name (Chris Sterling) written on front free endpaper. A good copy. This volume comes from the Broadcasting collection of Prof. Chris Sterling. Sterling was a professor of media and public affairs at George Washington University and an avid book collector. We are proud to house this collection, part of the extensive library which is his legacy. Please email with questions or to request photos.
