Libro Prima edizione Copia autografata
Hardcover. Condizione: As New. 1st Edition. 1st Printing. Signed. 16 pages. Published in 2012. Artist Book. The 75th title in the now-legendary "One Picture Book" Series by Nazraeli Press, one of the most superb ongoing projects of contemporary art photography. Limited Edition of 500 numbered and signed copies. Accompanied by one tipped-in, original print by the artist/photographer (hence the Series' name). An elegant production by Chris Pichler: Small-size volume format. Titles on the cover and spine, as issued. Photographs by Stu Levy. Text by Jerry Uelsmann and Stu Levy. Printed on pristine-white, archival stock paper to the highest standards. Without DJ, as issued. Presents Stu Levy's "Honk If You Love Stieglitz". His second contribution to the One Picture Book Series, a grid-portrait of a celebrated subject, the artist/photographer Jerry Uelsmann. Every Levy grid-portrait consists of multiple photographs of his subject, taken from various perspectives and distances, then combined to create one portrait that folds out, map-like, from its hardbound case. As Uelsmann points out, the process inventively yet rigorously mimics the photographic process itself. An absolute "must-have" title for Stu Levy and Jerry Uelsmann collectors. This is a copy of the Limited Edition, indicated/numbered as such in pencil on the Back Limitation Page. It comes with an original print that is very prominently and beautifully signed in pencil on verso by Stu Levy. This title is a contemporary art photography classic. This is one of few copies of the Limited Edition still available online and is in especially fine condition: Clean, crisp, and bright. Please note: The remaining copies from the publisher command $75. This is surely an accessible and lovely alternative. A scarce signed copy thus. 15 plates, 1 original print. One of the most brilliant American artist/photographers of our time. A fine copy. (SEE ALSO OTHER ONE PICTURE BOOK TITLES IN OUR CATALOG) ISBN 1590053583. Signed by Author.

Revised Final White script for the 1950 film. Presentation copy belonging to producer Joseph H. Hazen, in full green leather binding, with his name in gilt on front board and title in gilt on spine. Although the title and distribution pages identify the script as "Part I," the script presented here is the complete Revised White Draft. Hazen, though not credited as a producer on the film, was the co-founder of the film's production company, Wallis-Hazen, with Hal B. Wallis, the film's credited producer. Based upon the long-running radio comedy series created by Cy Howard, which broadcast on CBS radio from April 11, 1947 to August 23, 1954. The popular radio series created an early media franchise, which included this sequel to the 1949 film "My Friend Irma," directed by George Marshall, as well as a television series, which aired on CBS from 1952-1954, a 1950 comic strip, and a comic book series from 1950-1955, written by Stan Lee with art by Dan DeCarlo. After aspiring crooner Steve signs a bogus studio contract with an escaped lunatic, he and his pals; friend Seymour, layabout agent Steve, fiancé Jane, and Jane's ditzy roommate Irma, head out to Hollywood, California. The third film made (and second released) starring the comedy team of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. Set in and shot on location in New York, Las Vegas, and Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bound in full green leather, with Joseph H. Hazen and rule in gilt on front wrapper and gilt title and rule on spine. Title page present, dated January 24, 1950, noted as REVISED FINAL WHITE, with credits for screenwriters Cy Howard and Parke Levy. Distribution page present, with receipt intact. 145 leaves, with last page of text numbered 138. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only, with blue and goldenrod revision pages throughout, dated variously between 1-27-50 and 3-10-50. Pages Near Fine, binding Very Good plus, with toning and rubbing to the spine, and light fraying to the crown.

Manoscritto / Collezionismo cartaceo Copia autografata
Final White script for the 1949 film. Presentation copy belonging to producer Joseph H. Hazen, in full green leather binding, with his name in gilt on front board and title in gilt on spine, with the single annotation of an "H" in manuscript pencil on the top right of the title page. Although the title and registration pages identify the script as "Part I," the script presented here is the complete Final White Draft. The popular radio series created an early media franchise, spawning this film and its 1950 sequel "My Friend Irma Goes West," a television series, which aired on CBS from 1952-1954, as well as a 1950 comic strip, and a comic book series from 1950-1955, written by Stan Lee with art by Dan DeCarlo. Well intentioned, but not so bright, Irma and her conniving and lazy boyfriend Al, meddle in the love life of Irma's practical room mate Jane. The film debut of the nightclub comedy team of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. Lewis was originally cast to play Al, but was quickly realized to be wrong for the relatively straight role, and quickly invented the character Seymour as a comical sidekick to Steve (Dean Martin), and was written into the film, already in production. Set in and shot on location in New York. Bound in full green leather, with Joseph H. Hazen and rule in gilt on front wrapper and gilt title and rule on spine. Title page present, dated February 21, 1949, noted as FINAL WHITE, with credits for screenwriters Cy Howard and Parke Levy. Distribution page present, with receipt intact. 141 leaves, with last page of text numbered 131. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only, with blue, pink, and goldenrod revision pages throughout, dated variously between 2-24-49 and 4-8-49. Pages Near Fine, binding Very Good plus, with toning to the spine and rubbing to the crown and heel.
