Profusely illustrated work on Gypsy life by Russian-born Swedish photographer, Anna Riwkin-Brick. The artist is best remembered for her collaboration with Astrid Lindgren and her photographic children's books. The captivating b/w reproductions of photographs by Riwkin-Brick are accompanied with text by Swedish writer Ivar-Lo Johansson. Text in Swedish. Some rubbing, creasing, chipping and few closed tears on dj. Dust jacket in overall good+, book in very good to near fine condition. Scarce in dj. Unique copy, inscribed by Anna Riwkin-Brick to artist Erwin Leiser, who escaped Sweden at the age of 15 to escape National Socialism in Germany.
