1 lettre autographe signée 2 In-8 18/07/1945 Papier bleuté. bon Luc-Albert Moreau remercie son ami et confrère Marcel Mouillot pour son envoi : « Vos étourdissants voyages à Madagascar et à la Réunion ont enchanté mes nuits de campagnard. Je vous remercie de votre si charmante pensée. J'ai suivi avec grand intérêt les "minutes heureuses" que vous avez vécues dans ces bleds féériques. » Peintre et lithographe, il a fait de la nuit, de sa faune et de ses plaisirs ses sujets de prédilection. Blessé pendant la Grande Guerre, il rapporta des dessins saisissants du Front.

First Edition. ~ Préface de Colette ~ Illustré de 26 dessins hors-texte ~ Exemplaire No. 11 imprimé pour Edgar-Louis Bornand, de 31 sur vélin chamois, les seize premiers hors commerce. Cet exemplaire a appartenu à Marguerite Moreno, qui a laissé entre ses pages un document qui nous permet de suivre les tentatives de l'auteur pour publier son oeuvre (sous pseudonyme), dans la France occupée par les Nazis. Le livre a été publié finalement en Suisse, la guerre déjà terminée. One of 315 copies on 'vélin pur fil Lafuma-Navarre' (15 hors commerce) of a total edition of 335. Bénézit refers to Moreau's output as relatively limited but important, and notes that his work relating to women had been described by some critics as revealing a certain baudelairian spirit.
