Ele participou de várias gravações como regente, instrumentista, projetista de som e diretor mu sical. Compôs grandes obras, como mantra, kontakte e inori. Este livro apresenta a vida e toda a criação artística de Stockhausen. Traz ainda a discografia original dele e uma extensa lista de suas obras e das gravações das quais participou.
