Every page is an original woodcut. At the time of publication as "one of the most ambitious projects in recent Norwegian history". The unique character of the book is further enhanced by the fact that no future editions can ever be made; all pages are printed directly from the wood-plates the artist worked on, all of which were subsequently destroyed. Blue Note Boulevards is a collaboration between the esteemed late Norwegian poet Henning Kramer Dahl and Magne Furuholmen. Both artists have drawn inspiration from the rich history of jazz music, to create a joint work that seems to marry the literary and visual content.
