Boards in Pictorial Jacket. Condizione: Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Fine. First Edition Thus. np, profusely illustrated in b&w. Text in English. This is the recently published, revised edition of Italian photographer Gian Butturini's prescient "London" book. Originally published in 1969, it is a gritty, high-contrast black and white look at the city's streets and residents as the Swingin' Sixties drew to a close. A brand new, most handsome example of the now uncommon 2017 first - and only - Damiani printing (whose first edition is cited on pages 154-155 of Martin Parr and Gerry Badger's "The Photobook: A History Volume III") overseen by Martin Parr that was withdrawn from distribution following a somewhat ginned-up controversy regarding the sequencing of the book's images, with all of the publisher's remaining copies subsequently destroyed. Photography Monograph.
